ARRIVAL

Each time the tides bring in newcomers from the Pacific it brings back childhood memories of my father bringing home new toys for me. I’ve always hoped for and expected to one day see an Oriental Dragon emerge from the depths, carried to shore by the tide. This day brought the silhouette of such a dragon on the horizon at Iona Beach, but as it arrived at the shore and banked into the sand I could see that it looked more like a chameleon fleeing to a new home.
