When people ask me what the feeling is like as a new immigrant. My answer is: like a piece of driftwood .
Perhaps, that’s why I was attracted by driftwood when I first time visited to Iona Beach. The ocean waves constantly bring in driftwood and deposit them on the shoreline in all shapes and sizes.
